Romanian stock exchange is one of the youngest stockexchanges in Central Europe.It started its existence on November 1995 and currently is here traded over 60 companies and 5 funds.

Stocks are divided to three tiers based on their liquidity. Blue chips are placed in Tier 1.


OTC - The RASDAQ

There are also three tiers in RASDAQ and about 6000 shares is traded here, but some analystis pinpoint low liquidity on RASDAQ.

Overall Romanian market could happen interesting investment opportunity for future years as Romanian economics should increase in next few years to get to level of other European Union countries.
