Slovak bank rates stay fixed

Slovak central bank has decided not to change bank rates and the level stays same at 4,25 % which is in the middle between Central European National banks.

This decision has been expected by analysts, however there will have to be decrease in bank rates because of Euro introduction on January 2008.

The bank rates stay fixed since April 2008. Daily refinanced bank rates is currently at 5,75 % and repo rate is 2,25 %.
