Hungarian bank rates fixed

Hungarian Central Bank let the bank rates fixed for other period, which is contrary to stock market expectations.

The expectations was, that currently high rates of 8,5 % should be increased for more than 0,25 % to hold the inflation under control.

As the increase was expected, it was accompanied by significant increase in demand for hungarian currency, forint. Currently, we can significant sale of forint which can be higher than previous increase.

According Hungarian analytics could be another decision about bank rates made on July, but the expectations are very conservative now.
